TypeLab
Samen met David Berlow in Boston en vele anderen, stond Petr van Blokland aan de wieg van het jaarlijkse typografie- en letterontwerpcongres TypeLab. Als eerste werd het georganiseerd tijdens het jaarcongres 1993 van ATypI in Antwerpen. Daarna werden TypeLabs georganiseerd in San Francisco (1994), Parijs (1994) en Barcelona (1995). De laatste werd gecombineerd met het ATypI congres van 1996 in Den Haag.
